Best Dog-friendly Stores in Knoxville, TN

Mast General Store (4.7/5)

Location: 402 S Gay St STE 202, Knoxville, TN

Mast General Store is an old-fashioned and undoubtedly one of the best stores in Downtown Knoxville, Tennessee. The nostalgia offered by this place, especially if you were born in the 80s is enough to warm your heart on the coldest of days.

From candy aisels to apparel, shoes, home decor, and kitchen appliances— this store has a little bit of everything. They have things you don’t need and things you didn’t know you needed. One downside is that some items are quite overpriced. However, if you take your time and explore, you will see lots of cool stuff at really reasonable prices.

Overall, it’s a cute store with friendly and helpful staff. They allow dogs on their premises, so visiting this store with your furry companion will never be an issue except if you take your pup to the candy aisle. Also, if you are lucky enough to visit during occasional events, you can enjoy live music and many more fun activities.

HoundDogs of Knoxville (4.6/5)

Location: 9250 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37922

Opened in 1996, HoundDogs is a privately owned retail store or, more like a retail merchandise store of the University of Tennessee. If you are a Tennessee Volunteers Football team (Vol) fan, you should especially visit this store in Knoxville.

First things first, it’s dog-friendly. Secondly, it’s a great store with everything orange and white. From amazing Vol t-shirts and caps to jewelry, custom mugs, and more, the place is a Vol fan’s paradise.

Also, they have merchandise available in all sizes, including a few plus-size t-shirts, which demonstrates their inclusivity policies. What may come off as a con to some visitors is that  their prices are a bit high. However, this doesn’t mean that everything in the store is overpriced. That’s because they sell stuff you may not find elsewhere, and a high price for that is 100% understandable.

Nothing Too Fancy (4.6/5)

Location: 435 Union Ave, Knoxville, TN 37902

Nothing Too Fancy is a local t-shirt & boutique store that takes pride in their quality products. They not only sell their own Tennessee-inspired designs but also take custom print orders. It’s a cute mini store with a variety of things in different categories. If you are looking to buy Tennessee souvenirs for yourself or to give to someone, you simply must visit Nothing Too Fancy.

However, make sure you don’t forget your doggo behind — the staff would love to pet your pet!

Bargain Hunters Antique & Flea Market Mall (4.6/5)

Location: 4006 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920

Bargain Hunters Antique & Flea Market is a large store filled with old treasures. For people who love collecting antique and vintage stuff, they won’t find any place better than this, or at least at such a large venue. It’s a great place to search for treasures, and definitely worth checking out. From vintage furniture and linens to glassware, old toys and comics, and even some new farmhouse decor, you will find a lot of shoppable items at Bargain Hunters. Not to forget, this whole mall is dog-friendly, which makes us love it even more.
